Evan "Big Cat' Williams is
known worldwide as one of the greatest long-drivers in golf
history, and is a member of the Long Drive Hall of Fame.
'Big Cat' has been a PGA member since 1975 and has taught
golfers at all levels for over 40 years. Big Cat is a
very patient instructor who stresses the basics in his quest
for teaching a simple, repeatable swing. He believes
in learning the golf swing while the student is in motion;
rather than the typical 'static' positions taught by others.
Big Cat achieves this goal by utilizing many different
drills and training devices. |
Big Cat is not just a
long-drive champion; he is an accomplished Tour Player
who has competed on just about every major tour around the
world; has been a color-commentator for ESPN;
and is the author of the book 'You Can Hit the Golf Ball
Further' (a 1979 Golf Digest Publication).
